Tunisia: Ben Jaafar Calls for 'Fair Assessment' of NCA One-Year-Works

Le Bardo — National Constituent Assembly (NCA) Speaker Mustapha Ben Jaafar called, in his address on Thursday on the first anniversary of the start of the assembly works, for "a fair assessment" of these one-year-works.

He provided figures and statistics about the assembly works, whether in plenary sessions or within the different commissions.

The NCA Presidency had released a statement last Wednesday saying that important steps had been made on the way of its chief mission which is drafting the Constitution, in addition to its legislative and monitoring role, and reminding that a frist draft of the Constitution had been made available to citizens last August .
