Kenya: Belgian King's Day Party in Nairobi

The Belgian Kings Day was celebrated on November 15. In Nairobi, the Belgian ambassador Bart Ouvry hosted a party to mark the day at his Muthaiga residence.

In attendance were a big delegation from the government, the diplomatic corps and the private sector. Miss Kenya 2004 Juliet Otieno attended the event.

Ouvry expressed his concern over the recent spate of violence in various of the country. He also toasted a healthy life for President Kibaki as he prepares to retire come March 4 next year.
