Kenya: Wambui's Camp Wins TNA Seats

ALL the 18 officials elected on Wednesday for the Othaya branch are allied to the area parliamentary aspirant Mary Wambui.

The TNA party supporters choose to elect the officials who are allied to Wambui who is vying for the seat on a TNA ticket and swept all the seats from the four wards of Karima, Chinga, Mahiga and Iria-ini.

In the chaotic elections held at Othaya CDF hall, supporters of another parliamentary aspirant Peter King'ara were defeated amid protests of illegularities.

There was tight security as police tried to calm those who shouted others down and throwing hands in the air. The win of Wambui might be a signal of the possible outcome especially as the area head for the party nominations in January.
