Angola: Governor Urges Officials for Greater Authority

Luanda — The governor of Luanda province, Bento Sebastião Francisco Bento, Thursday in Luanda called on the staff of the sector for greater authority and discipline, in order to maintain order in some areas of the city.

Bento Bento was speaking at a meeting held at Provincial Government's headquarters aimed at assessing the damage caused by recent rains.

The governor regretted the negative actions committed by citizens in public under nose of the government officials.

He defends that the staff of the sector should not be onlookers of the negative things being done by civil society, but must assume their responsibilities to serve the people who trust and hop for improvement.

The official called for joint action and cooperation among various sectors of the provincial government, guaranteeing solution to problems affecting the community, in particular the victims.
