Al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el-Tayyeb hailed the Egyptian role in halting the Israeli ferocious attack on the Gaza Strip and reaching a truce.
In a statement Thursday 22/11/2012, Tayyeb called on the Arab and Muslim nation to offer aid to the people of Gaza to break the Israeli siege of the Palestinian enclave.
He also called on all Palestinian factions to unite and end division.
