Gambia: Brikama Female League Final Sunday

Brikama Youth and Sports Committee female league final is slated for this weekend.

New Town United FC and Berewuleng will grind it out in the finals scheduled for Sunday 25th November 2012 at the Brikama mini-stadium.

The duel is expected to court spectator attention, according to Brikama sports pundits.

The initiation of a Female Nawettan Championship is the first to be setup in the annals of Gambian football, courtesy of a Brikama Committee initiative.

Pre-match analysis tip the Berewuleng female side for the coveted trophy. Berewuleng secured a spot into the finals after a laboured 1-0 over Daru Youths in a rescheduled semi's encounter.

Brikama's attempt to give Gambian female football a deserving strong footing in a male football dominated country, has been lauded by the Female U-17 Assistant Coach, Choro Mbenga.
