Egypt: Country, China Ink Memorandum of Cooperation in Water Resources

Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Baha'a-Eddin wound on Thursday a several-day state visit to China.

Before leaving China, the minister announced a memo of cooperation with his Chinese counterpart that aims to boost bilateral cooperation in the area of water resources.

The agreement also includes exchange of know-how and use of state-of-the-art machines and technology in irrigation that could help save as much wasted water as possible.
