Kenya: Peace Anthem Launched At Catholic University

Yesterday, the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and Tangaza College launched a peace anthem dubbed Jivunie. This is part of the university's initiative called 'Kenya Youth for Peace'. It aims to bring together university students and empower them to be peace ambassadors as the country gears up for the next general elections.

The Kenya Youth For peace has also been working in collaboration with Kenya University Students Organisation in a number of activities related to peace.

The guest speakers at the event were famed anti-corruption whistle-blower John Githongo, Sam Owen (Founder of African Youth Leadership Forum), Citizen TV's Julie Gichuru and MP Millie Odhiambo.
