Kenya: CDF Team Trash Report

The Changamwe CDF committee has dismissed a report by the National Taxpayers Association that indicates it wasted Sh12.9 million on dubious projects and embezzled another Sh8.7 million on a ghost project.

The CDF secretary Abubakar Muni said the report is " false, malicious and was not based on facts". He said "every shilling allocated for the CDF can be accounted for".

The report released by NTA national coordinator Martin Napisa, said the CDF was awarded Sh8.7 million for a floodlight project in the constituency but used Sh15,000.
