Nigeria: Gaidam Has Failed Yobe People - Adamu Kukuri

A Kano-based businessman, AlhajiIdrissaAdamu Kukuri, (Danburan Fika) has described the over three year's government ofIbrahim Gaidam and the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) in Yobe statea failure.

In an interview with LEADERSHIP WEEKEND in Damaturu,Kukuri said he was surprised at media reports that Gaidam has fulfilled 90 percent of his campaign promises,when hospitals in the state areshut down, adding that even the Damaturu Specialist Hospital the governor claimed to be the best,had no facilities.

Kukuri lamented that the Yobe Specialist Hospital has been undergoing renovation for over three years, while the ones in Potiskum, Gashua and other parts of the state are not worthy to be called dispensaries.He added thatthere are only 27 medical doctors on the state payroll.
