Nigeria: 20 Contestants to Feature in Knorr Reality Show

Unilever Nigeria Plc has joined the rank and file of global brands in a taste reality TV show soon to debut. After a rigorous auditioning exercise, about 20 contestants were chosen to feature in Unilever Nigeria Plc's reality television cooking show tagged Knorr Taste Quest.

The 20 lucky contestants mostly drawn from Lagos will now proceed to the main competition in search of the first ever winner of Knorr Taste Quest.

According to the category manager savoury, Unilever Nigeria Plc, Nsima Ogedi-Alakwe the show which is first of its kind in Nigeria will provide a platform and opportunity for food lovers in Nigeria to showcase their various cooking skills.

Nsima revealed that over 6,000 entries were received adding that the scope of the show which is limited to Lagos will be extended to other parts of the country in subsequent editions.

"The winner will go home with a grand prize of a brand new car, N1million and kitchen equipment worth N300, 000. Similarly, the first runner-up and second runner-up will get N1million and kitchen equipment worth N300, 000 and N500, 000 and kitchen equipment worth N300, 000 respectively.

Meanwhile, all the 20 contestants would go home with different kitchen equipment and could also win cash vouchers in special tasks function.
