Eritrea: Aritai Inhabitants Express Satisfaction With Potable Water Supply

Habero — The inhabitants of Aritai village, Habero sub-zone, voiced satisfaction with potable water supply. They further explained that fetching water used to be a taxing task in the locality, and that it has presently become a matter of few distance walk.

Among the inhabitants, Ms. Amna Hajjaj and Ms. Akhiar Hamedi-Adem said that availability of such facility has a positive impact on the improvement of women's livelihood.

Mr. Hamd Jabera, Administrator of Aritai Administrative area, indicated that the water supply facility comprises 8 distribution centers and a big reservoir, besides manual and solar-energy-powered 3 pumps. Moreover, he called on the inhabitants to practice judicious utilization of the facility.
