Ethiopia: College Goes Operational

Negelle — A Teachers' Education College constructed in Adola Weyu Town of Gujji Zone in Oromia State with 80 million birr has gone operational.

The college has 16 classrooms, assembly halls, libraries and laboratories, among others.

It has enrolled 300 trainees for the first time. More than 130 of the trainees are females.

The regional government allocated the fund for construction of the college.

College Dean Ayele Udo said the college will enrol 900 trainees as of next Ethiopian year.
