Egypt: Call for a Military Coup Is a Crime - Prosecutor General

The new General Prosecutor Talaat Ibrahim said that calls for a military coup against the ruling regime are a crime whose punishment could mount to capital punishment.

He said the revolution protection prosecution will start interrogations into the killing of demonstrators upon its formation adding this prosecution will consist of the members of the public prosecution and investigating judges who are seconded by the Ministry of Justice.
