Angola: Nation Lacks Stage Lighting - Cultural Activist

Luanda — Angolan cultural activist, António da Silva "Mandela", said on Saturday, in Luanda, that stage lighting is one of the major flaws in the Angolan art.

Speaking to ANGOP, on the sidelines of a workshop on stage lighting, taking place from November 24 to 27, the official said that the participants to the event should make the most of the experience gained from the Portuguese teacher Jorge Ribeiro.

He stated that the gathering will address the basic precepts of stage lighting, such as the types of reflectors, lamps, steering the reflector, colours and map preparation, as from practical exercises implemented in class.
