Kenya: Parallel Investigations Into Baragoi Deaths

Police officers have been sent to Samburu to investigate how over 40 of their colleagues were killed in a cattle recovery operation in Suguta Valley almost two weeks ago. The officers will be expected to compile a report on how the situation was handled following the failed rescue operation.
Two parliamentary teams also launched similar investigations. Here is military analyst Jeremiah Katwiko.
