Angola: Welfare Ministry Holds Fair On Elderly People's Day

Luanda — The Ministry of Welfare and Social Reintegration (Minars) mobilised on Sunday at Luanda's Cidadela pavilion 150 elderly people, under the celebration of the National Elderly People's Day.

Angop learnt that the event was marked by several Socio-recreational activities, such as the holding of contest of dance, theatre, exhibitions with various items made by elderly people, games of chess, draughts, kiela and cards, among other activities.

It was also opened health tens, where the elderly people were measured the high blood pressure.

The event was attended by the cabinet official, elderly people from various centres of Luanda and staff of MINARS.
