Nigeria: Oritsejafor Condemns Violence, Corruption

Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has condemned the frequent bombings in the country and "institutional corruption."

Oritsejafor made the condemnation at the dedication of the newly completed church building by the GoodTidings Bible Church International yesterday in Abuja.

He expressed regret that the healthcare system in the country had failed while the standard of education was dwindling.

In his remarks, Pastor Dayo Olutayo, the Senior Pastor of GoodTidings, thanked God for bringing the project, which commenced five years ago, to fruition.

He enjoined Nigerians to listen to God and obey Him for the progress of the country.

According to Olutayo, the current challenges confronting the country will be over.

"Every country has trying moment. We are having our own at this period and just like we overcame other challenges, I believe that what we are going through now will be a thing of the past.

"We pray for this nation to prosper and fulfill God's purpose."
