Tunisian Women Combat Gender Violence

The Tunisian Association of Democratic Women (ATFD) on Sunday (November 25th) will launch a 16-day awareness campaign on women's rights, Tunisia Live reported.

ATFD head Nadia Hkimi said the campaign was "meant to link the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, celebrated on November 25th, to the International Human Rights Day on December 10th".

The campaign will include events in Sfax, Sousse, Kairouan and Bizerte.
