Photo: Capital FM A man suspected to be behind the killing of three KDF soldiers in Garissa is expected in court today. He was arrested over the weekend in Hulugho area near the Kenya - Somali border.
He confessed to being behind the shooting after he was positively identified by witnesses including two surviving soldiers. The three soldiers were shot to death on Monday last week when they had stopped to change a tyre on their truck at a local garage along Kismayu road next to Midnimo hotel in Garissa town.
Two people including a local chief died and several people were injured when Violence and riots erupted in the region after the incident. A curfew was placed in the town as KDF soldiers conducted a house-to-house search for the killers.
