Tunisia: President Marzouki Arrives in London

London — Caretaker President Moncef Marzouki, Sunday afternoon, arrived at HeathrowInternationalAirport, London.

President Marzouki, who begins a three-day visit to the United Kingdom, will receive jointly with Mr. Rached Ghannouchi, President of the "Ennahdha" Movement, the Chatham House Prize for 2012 from the Royal Institute of International Affairs.

Marzouki and Ghannouchi were joint winners of the prize "for their positive role in the period of democratic transition in Tunisia," as indicated by this institute at the announcement of the prize.

During this visit, Mr. Marzouki will meet with senior British officials and representatives of the Tunisian community in London.
