A week long campaign to collect coins, amidst concerns that Kenyans are keeping the coins in exchange for money has been launched by the Central bank of Kenya.
CBK governor Njuguna Ndung'u maintains that there is no coin shortage and that most of us are keeping the coins.The campaigns runs to the 6th of December, and you can take your coins to any bank or supermarket.
