Angola: Economist Highlights Transport Sector

Luanda — The economist Manuel Lourenço last Sunday here said the transport sector is fundamental in supporting the economic growth of the country, since it allows access to different regions and provinces of the national territory.

In an interview to ANGOP, at the International Fair of Transport and Logistics of Angola (ExpoTrans), Manuel Lourenço stressed that the accessibility improves the living condition of citizens.

The second edition of the exhibition, he added, brings an added value to the organizers of the event, fundamentally in terms of experience.

The source highlighted the fact that the fair has exhibited the latest technological developments in the aeronautical industry, railways, sea, roads and logistics.

The second edition of the Transport and Logistics Fair (Expotrans) gathered, since November 22, 85 companies linked to various sectors of the transport industry and ended on November 25.
