African-European Radio Astronomy Platform Group Launch in European Parliament Signals Africa's Readiness for High-Tech Collaboration in Radio Astronomy

On 15 November 2012, Members of the European Parliament launched the African-European Radio Astronomy Platform (AERAP) Group as a further step on implementing the Written Declaration45/2011 on "Science Capacity Building in Africa: promoting European-African Radio Astronomy Partnerships".

Today's event which was hosted by MEP Britta Thomson, offered stakeholders the opportunity to meet Members of the Parliament to discuss future cooperation activities and the needs of the African and European radio astronomy communities. Read more.
