Uganda: Urban TV Changes Channel

Urban TV, an investment of the Vision Group is changing channel from UHF 43 to VHF 11.

The TV station's manager, Joseph Walugembe, said the move was aimed at giving viewers better a quality signal.

"It is going to give a better quality signal, the pictures will be clearer and our reach is now going to be wider," he said.

"Our viewers should out tune their TV sets to be able to receive the new signal.

Viewers should also expect new content from December 1.

"We are going to refresh the look of the station and our viewers should expect high quality programming, both informative and entertaining," Walugembe said.
