Kenya/Uganda: Kenya Team Get Cash Boost Despite Losing to Uganda

Despite falling to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of hosts Uganda Cranes, Harambee Stars received $2,000 as a token for their good show against the hosts.

Stars dominated the second half of the encounter, missing gilt edged chances from Rama Salim, Humphrey Mieno and Kevin Omondi. Sofapaka President Elly Kalekwa handed them Sh80,000 as did FKF chairman Sam Nyamweya.

Youth and Sports Minister Ababu Namwamba promised that the ministry will pay all the allowances of the Stars team on their return home from the tournament which ends on
