The Addis Abeba City Administration is celebrating the 125th anniversary of the establishment of the Capital City, the hub of the major economic and political activities of the country, through different events.

The events promote the different dimensions of the development of the City that has benefited lots of people over the years. These young men, photographed atMeskel Square, are seen announcing the public event to be held to mark the City's anniversary, albeit in the very traditional way that used to be the norm before 100 years.

They are seen beating drums, blowing trumpets while announcing the event.
