Kenya: Double Celebration for Kenya Airways and Its CEO

It was a double celebration on Thursday evening as Kenya Airways hosted a lavish party to welcome the 900th E-jet manufactured by Embraer at KQ headquarters Hangar 2, also its current CEO Titus Naikuni celebrated his 59th birthday on the same day.

The jet an Embraer E190 was acquired by the airline as part of it's fleet expansion programme. The well attended function was attended by transport minister Amos Kimunya and Embraer Commercial jet President Paulo Cesar de Souza and Brazilian ambassador Anna Maria Fernandes the home country of the Embraers. The party that officially started at 7pm went on late into the night with guests entertained by Safari cats while food and drink were in plenty.
