Kenya: Kinuthia Decries Nakuru Slump

Poverty, unemployment, poor leadership and lack of enough teachers are to blame for poor education standards in Nakuru county.

Former AP boss Kinuthia Mbugua who is vying for the Nakuru governor the county used to be the envy of many Kenyans as far as education was concerned, but not any more.

"What happened to institutions like Naivasha Boarding Primary which used to be the envy of many?" asked the aspirant. Mbugua was speaking at the weekend in Nyondia Primary School in Naivasha.
