Nigeria: Dangote, Gates Foundations Supports Kano On Routine Immunisation

Kano State government has signed agreement with the Bill Gates and Dangote Foundations, in a bid to tackle the scourge of polio meningitis in the state.

Speaking at a brief ceremony at Kano Government House on Monday, Representative of Bill Gates and Melinda Foundation, Mr Jeffery Raikes said that it has become imperative to come together and fight the menace of polio spread in the state.

Also, Chairman of Dangote Foundation and Chief Executive of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote said that he decided to join hands with the Bill Gates Foundation in view of the embarrassing situation of the virus widespread in Kano.

Dangote said time has come when all hands should be on deck to fight the spread of polio virus in the state.
