Ethiopian Delegation Visits an Indian Technopark

An 11-member delegation from Ethiopia, led by Ethiopia's Minister for Women, Youth and Children, Wo. Zenebu Tadesse, began a two-day visit to the Indian state of Kerala's Technopark on Monday (November 26th).

The visit, also attended by Ethiopia's Ambassador to India, Ambassador Gennet Zewide, is aimed increasing understanding of the role that the IT industry can play in empowering women and youth in the state of Kerala. The visiting delegates met with representatives of the Technopark companies and the office-bearers of Empowering Women in IT (e-WIT).

The delegates will also meet and hold talks with Kerala's Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, and the state's Social Welfare Minister M.K. Muneer.
