Akure — Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko yesterday said his adminis-tration has put in place measures to eradicate polio from the state.
Mimiko, who said this while flagging off the Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Week (MNCHW) in Akure, said his administration directed all caretaker chairmen in the state to release N500,000 each from their councils for the project. The governor, who was represented by his wife, Mrs. Olukemi Mimiko said, "I have directed all the local government caretaker committee chairmen to release N500,000 for the project".
