Cameroon: Man Caught With Indian Hemp in Yaounde

A young man whose names were got as Louis Joseph Nama was arrested by men of the Yaounde Mobile Police Number One on November 13, 2012 for possessing huge quantities of Indian hemp.

After police interrogation, Louis Nama disclosed that he got the Indian hemp from his brother in his village called Ateba, who trades in Indian hemp and was making huge profits from it.

Reports say Nama Louis got into the trade in order to cater for his pregnant wife and his 18-month old child. Unfortunately for him, the police was informed and he was arrested immediately. He is presently in police custody in the Centre Regional Judicial Police Office.
