Windhoek — The All Namibia Netball Association (ANNA) is to host its regional championships in the Caprivi Region on December 7, where all 13 regions will be present.
ANNA aims to use the tournament, which is expected to attract an estimated 200 players, as an ideal opportunity to identify talent and share various challenges experienced by the executive committees in the regions.
Plans are also underway to make this an annual event, with the hope to support and establish netball in all four corners of the country.
Meanwhile, the region to host next yearís tournament will be drawn before the start of this yearís tournament, while teams are obliged to submit a list of 16 members, consisting of team manager, coach, umpire, 12 players and one Exco member.
