Ghana: Royal Magazine Launch Today

A new quarterly colour magazine, THE ROYAL MAGAZINE, will be launched today at the conference Hall of the National House of Chiefs, Manhyia-Kumasi, at 10:00 a.m. prompt.

The 120-page magazine, which seeks to educate, inform and entertain the reading public worldwide, is dedicated to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, for his exceptional visionary leadership, distinguished traditional rulers, entrepreneurs, and corporate entities.

The magazine would also be to the memory of the late George Kwaku Kusi Addo Kufuor, for his advice and encouragement which accounted for the publication.

The magazine covers, among other things, School History; Achievements of Chiefs, Queenmothers, Distinguished Entrepreneurs and Dignitaries in Ghana; Events at Manhyia Palace; Ghanaian Festivals and Funerals; Activists of Christian, Muslim and Traditional Religions; Education; Health and Sports.

Dignitaries from far and near would participate in the launch, according to Mr. Collins Adusei, former registrar of the Kumasi Traditional Council and a member of the Launch Committee.
