Tanzania: Kuria Traditional Female Circumcisors Escape to Tanzania

Girls from Kuria have been taken to Tanzania by traditional female circumcisers so as to carry out Female Genital Mutilation. District Officer Chaka Nyamawi says they escaped due to a new law that will see them fined up to half a million shillings or face a jail term of seven months.
