Luanda — The current operative situation, as well as the organisational and readiness state of the effectives of the Ministry of the Interior in the northern Cabinda Province will be analysed this Tuesday in Cabinda City.
In view of this, a delegation led by the secretary of State for Civil Protection and Fire Service, Eugénio Laborinho, left this Tuesday morning for the mentioned province.
The delegation also includes the general-commander of the National Police, Ambrósio de Lemos, high ranking police officers and senior staff of the Ministry of the Interior.
According to Eugénio Laborinho, who spoke briefly to the press at the airport in Luanda, his delegation will stay two days in Cabinda to analyse with the local executive the situation relating to illegal immigration and how the local authorities have been tackling this issue.
The gathering is also to assess the consequences of the recent rains befalling the province.
