Libya: Niger to Hand Over Kadhafi Son

Niger President Mahamadou Issoufou said his country would hand Saadi Kadhafi over to the International Criminal Court (ICC), Libya Herald reported on Sunday (November 25th).

On September 29th, 2011, Interpol issued a Red Notice against the 38-year-old son of slain Libyan dictator Moamer Kadhafi "for allegedly misappropriating properties through force and armed intimidation when he headed the Libyan Football Federation".

The ICC has not yet issued a warrant for Saidi Kadhafi's arrest. Libya has asked Niger to extradite him.
