Eritrea: Inhabitants of Badda and Adaito Express Readiness to Prudently Utilize Natural Resources

Gelalo — The inhabitants of Badda and Adaito villages, Gelalo sub-zone, voiced readiness to utilize the available natural resources in a way that ensures sustainability and communal benefit.

They made the statement at a meeting with Ms. Tsigereda Woldegiorgis, Administrator of the Northern Red Sea region, in which she stated that the nation is demonstrating a remarkable move regarding investment and called on them to enhance participation in this regard.

The regional Administrator further explained that endeavors are being exerted to put in place the remaining social service facilities in Badda area.

The participants of the meeting lauded the government's commitment as regards bridging the gap between urban and rural areas, and said that the momentum of the national development drive attests to the steadfastness of the people and their leadership.

Badda administrative area has around 7,500 inhabitants who rely on agriculture for living.
