Eritrea: Farmers in Agameda Village Exerting Endeavors to Boost Agricultural Production

Ginda — Farmers in Agameda village, Ginda sub-zone, said that they are exerting endeavors to boost agricultural production on the basis of promoting construction of water diversion canals.

They further pointed out that they have obtained a total of 400 machinery service hours this year and anticipate securing bountiful harvest from the fertile plains of the area.

Among the farmers, Mr. Abraham Tsegai, Mr. Musie Kidane, Mr. Hagos Niguse and Mr. Woldemichael Paulos lauded the cooperation of pertinent bodies in the popular undertaking, and disclosed that they have renovated the dirt road to the village in collaboration with EDF members.
