Kenya: Kasipul Kabondo, Gem Best in CDF Use

KASIPUL Kabondo and Gem constituencies have been ranked best in terms of public fund management in Homabay and Siaya respectively.

The ranking according to a report by the National Tax Payers Association is based on the management of funds in regard to the Constituency Development Fund.

The association's Nyanza regional coordinator, Patrick Nyangweso, said the two constituencies did well in terms of infrastructural development.

Especially on improved education, roads, health and social amenities. Kasipul Kabondo MP Oyugi Magwanga said he was optimistic his constituency would be ranked top in the entire region.

He attributed the results to sound policies in all aspects including education. Apart from Kasipul Kabondo, Homabay County has other five constituencies including; Karachuonyo, Rangwe, Ndhiwa, Gwassi and Mbita constituencies.
