Kenya/Uganda: FKF Vice Asembo Gets Cecafa Post

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) national vice chairman Robert Asembo has been appointed as a member of the powerful Confederation of Africa Football Council (CECAFA) judicial committee after the regional body held its congress in Kampala last week.

Asembo, who also doubles up as the representative of Nairobi in the NEC, was included in the committee due to his background in the legal profession where he has made a name as a lawyer.

"I am happy to serve in a capacity that utilises my profession. I hope my experience will help in the development of the game in the region as well as in the country in order to improve the standard of the game," he said. Asembo was in the powerful delegation led by Sports Minister Ababu Namwamba and FKF Presdient Sam Nyamweya who attend Stars match against Uganda last Saturday.
