Smiling looking children jumping around trying to get a feel of the atmosphere while the celebrant danced her way in, holding hands with the kids whose joy knows no bound.

Last Saturday will continue to be remembered by the children and staff of Karu Children's Home who received Nollywood actress and business woman, Empress Njamah who came in with a large entourage to mark her birthday with the children.

The countenances of the guest would tell you that there is nothing like sharing with the children especially with the orphans.

The joyful look kids gathered round to make the occasion as memorable as they ate and drank to their fill.

Games and competition brought out the best in them as they were treated with latest cool songs from the DJ.

The MC Nick B rendered some jokes to the admiration of the guest present while the people laughed out the heat and stress of the whether.

The staff were presented various items for the up keep of the home as a token from the celebrants, Miss Njamah.

The cheery looking beautiful Empress said children has been her great passion, and she would do everything in making sure that she add to their life which is her reason for celebrating with the kids.

'Growing up here my mum said that when I was younger I was always carrying children of my age, I always try to lift them. So I think that is where I got the love from. And I'm this kind of person that have joy when I have children around me or when I'm around children. It is something that have been within ever since. Its not like I'm just starting doing this, I have been doing it over the years. I feel very relaxed, blessed and free with children.'

She also emphasized that there are some friends of hers who also help in sponsoring some of the children on a yearly basis.

'Every year, I pick up five friends and I call them volunteers. These friends will take care of a child each for a year. I pick five in Lagos and I was able to get three in Abuja. But it is for a year. If they want to go further fine but I pick them for a year. That is just what we do to assist the child. Is just like you assisting the child , most of us enjoy doing it. Most of my friends during our spare time come see the children.'

Highlight of the event was the presentation of items to the staff of Karu Children's Home, games, dance competition and cutting of the birthday cake.
