Angola: Official Announces Construction of Food Banks Countrywide

Kuito — Angolan minister of Trade, Rosa Pacavira de Matos Monday announced the construction of food banks across the country.

The Cabinet minister announced this to the press in Kuito, central Bié province, during her first official visit to the country's inland region.

According to the official, the action consists of collecting products with less than a month of expiry from the stores, in order to supply them to the needy centres, like hospitals, orphanages and other social homes.
