Nigeria: Marwa to Return to PDP

Indications emerged Tuesday that the former Military Governor of Lagos State and the governorship aspirant of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) in the last governorship election in Adamawa State, General Mohammed Buba Marwa (rtd.), may have indicated his intention to return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The PDP caretaker committee Chairman in the state, Umar Damagun, disclosed this at the party's secretariat in Yola, during a press briefing, where he alleged that Marwa's return was part of the caretaker committee's mandate to harmonise and reconcile party members in the state, especially those who left the party aggrieved.
