Tunisia: Unido, EU, Italy and Switzerland Pledge to Promote Youth Employment in Tunisia

Tunis — The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), the European Union, Italy and Switzerland pledged to promote youth employment in Tunisia and in the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA).

During a press briefing held Tuesday in Tunis on the eve of the International Conference on Productive Work for Youth in Tunisia and the MENA region, Kandeh K. Yumkella, Director-General of UNIDO, said unemployment of young graduates is a major challenge in Tunisia.
