Africa: Fiba Africa Picks 16 Referees, Four Commissioners for Malabo 2012

Africa basketball ruling body FIBA Africa has released a list of sixteen referees and four match commissioners as technical officials for the final round of the 2012 Africa Champions Cup for Men holding in Malabo Equatorial Guinea from November 29 through December 8.

Among the sixteen referees listed for the championship are eleven accompanying referees and five neutral referees drawn from across the continent for the biggest club competition in Africa.

The accompanying referees include, Mathurin N'Guessan (ABC, Cote d'Ivoire); Kingsley Obeaburu (Kano Pillars, Nigeria); Jean Claude Kabulo (ASB Mazembe, DRC Congo); Eric Bilala (MANGA, Gabon); Shema Maboko (ESPOIR, Rwanda); Carlos Julio (Petro Atletico, Angola); Fernando Pacheco (Primeiro D'Agosto, Angola); Manuel Domingos (LIBOLO, Angola); Mohamed El Meshawy (AL-Ittihad, Egypt); Abdel Wael (AL ALHY, Egypt); (ESS) Sami Belgharek (ESS, Tunisia).

The five listed neutral referees are N'Jio Kom (Cameroon); Samir Abaakil (Morocco); Mohamed Ziyad (Morocco); Charles Foster (South Africa) and Abreu Muhima (Mozambique) while the four match commissioners include Abderaouf Menjour (Tunisia); Coffi Tonon (Benin Republic); Mohamed Azzabouri (Morocco) and Sam Ahmedu (Nigeria).
