Nigeria: Bafarawa N15 Billion Fraud - Court Admits Evidence

A Sokoto State High Court has admitted in evidence the memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the joint account between the state government and 23 local council chairmen in the N15 billion corruption trial brought against the former governor of the state, Attahiru Bafarawa and 15 others.

A statement by EFCC spokesman Wilson Uwujaren yesterday said the presiding Judge, Justice Bello Abbas had on Monday admitted in evidence documents in the corruption suit brought against the former governor and 15 others by the EFCC.
