Morocco: UK Supports Efforts of United Nations to Encourage Morocco and Polisario to Address Issues Regarding the Use of Territory's Natural Resources

London ( UK) Nov27,2012(SPS) the UK's Secretary of state for foreign and Commonwealth affairs,Alistair Burt, said that his country supports the efforts of the United Nations to encourage Morocco and Polisario to address issues regarding the use of territory's natural resources.

"The UK fully supports the efforts of the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Western Sahara, Ambassador Christopher Ross, to encourage Morocco and the Polisario Front to address issues regarding the use of territory's natural resources." Said Alistair in written answers to some questions raised by MPs member during disunion at Westminster Parliament, held on last Monday day, 26th November 2012.

"We continue to call on Morocco to produce evidence that the EU-Morocco Fisheries Partnership Agreement is conducted to the benefit of the people of Western Sahara." He added.
