Angola: Theatre Group Organizes HIV/Aids Awareness Campaign

Uíge — The "Omalã Veto Veya" theatre group from Bié Province will organize in Uíge Province an HIV/Aids awareness campaign, aimed at reducing the risk of infection, ANGOP learnt from the director of the theatre group, Dino Quibato.

According to the official, the "Omalã Veto Veya", a group that was founded in 2003 in the central Bié Province, will start a cycle of lectures and sessions of movies.

The activities will be extended to other districts of the province in future.

Dino Quibato stressed that the theatre group will open the campaign on the 1st of December (World Aids Day) and the activities are to be organized in all municipalities of Uíge Province.
